There are many ways you can get involved in fundraising for Parkinson’s QLD.
Parkinson’s QLD brings people with Parkinson’s, their carers and families together via our network of Support Groups, our website, free confidential helpline, Specialist nurse, supporters and staff to provide information and training on every aspect of Parkinson’s.
As Queensland’s Parkinson’s support and research charity we’re changing attitudes, demanding better services and leading the work to find a cure, and we’re closer than ever.
Our recurrent government funding represents approximately 23% of our total income annually. So our work is critically dependent on donations and fundraising.
We can only go on making a difference to people’s lives because of the generosity of the hundreds of people such as yourselves, who give their time and support to our work.
How you can help!
- Run your own community event – see our Community Fundraising Kit for more details
- Complete a race, triathlon, cycle… – check out Every Day Hero to help you do this
- Host a “Wear Purple for Parkinson’s” day at your school, workplace or community group.
- Keep an eye out for our major events and get involved with fundraising for those!
Thank you for helping us find a cure and improve the lives of those living with Parkinson’s.
