Wesley Medical Research Open Day

Dr Susanna Mantovani

In early 2018 Wesley Medical Research, in association with Parkinson’s Queensland, will hold an information day for people with Parkinson’s and their carers.

Information will be provided on a number of promising new trials to be conducted in 2018. Patients will get a better understanding of their disease, access to information and support and be part of ground breaking research being conducted right here in Brisbane.

Dr Susanna Mantovani, (pictured), is a researcher at Wesley Medical Research and the UQCCR (University of Queensland Centre for Clinical Research). She is conducting a study on sleep and says, “in some patients sleep disturbances are in existence years before the onset of other major symptoms. I hope that by studying the sleep and day-night cycle of patients, my research can contribute to delaying the onset of this debilitating disease.”

Parkinson’s Queensland will provide members with up-to-date information about the event as details are confirmed.

To register your interest for this event, please email rsvp@wesleyresearch.com.au and you will receive an invitation.
